Storyboard asked us to help create a brand for their new production accounting firm serving the creative industry, specifically independent and well-established film studios. We delivered an identity that mixed a little rock and roll with trust and experience.

The decision to use storyboard boxes as a visual narrative made perfect sense in telling the Storyboard story. It effectively communicated the film industry they serve, while also incorporating elements of accounting through the use of spreadsheet cells that help clients tell their own stories.

Our inspiration for the project came from Storyboard’s passion for movies and the creative industry. We aimed to create a narrative that would be immediately recognizable to their audience, yet presented in a fresh and innovative way. To achieve this, we infused movie industry terms such as “action,” “cut,” and “wrap” to represent the support Storyboard offers to the creative community.
